THE HEALTH ADVENTURE BREAKS GROUND FOR MOMENTUM |
ASHEVILLE, NC – The Health Adventure officially broke ground
today for its new health and science museum and adventure park located
just one mile from downtown Asheville. Once complete, The Health
Adventure will move to its new permanent home and become an educational
attraction known as Momentum: Science and Health Adventure Park.
“For more than 40 years, The Health Adventure has educated and
entertained the children and families of western North Carolina,” said
Paige Johnson, President & CEO. “Our popularity is evident: since
beginning in a broom closet at Mission Hospitals back in 1968, we have
relocated five times to larger borrowed or rented facilities. I am
proud to say that we will now have a home of our own.”
